This string trio was commissioned for Camerata Pacifica by: Peter & Linda Beuret, Bob Klein & Lynne Cantlay, in memory of Michael Benjamin Klein, Roger & Nancy Davidson, Stanley & Judith Farrar, Ann Hoagland, in memory of her husband Stephen C. Hoagland, John & Susan Keats, Jordan & Sandra Laby and Alejandro Planchart, in memory of Milton Babbitt.

Camerata Pacifica is a chamber music ensemble based in Santa Barbara that performs a monthly series of concerts in Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Marino, and Zipper Hall in Downtown Los Angeles.
