International artist Adam Neiman was front and center at the Camerata Pacifica concert at the Music Academy of the West, performing Argentinian composer Alberto Ginastera’s four movement Sonata para Piano No.1 at breakneck speed in just 15 minutes. The highly acclaimed recitalist, who plays in music festivals worldwide, performed in all four works at Hahn Hall, starting with Wolfgang’s Vine Street Express, with Catherine Leonard on violin, before Ravel’s Sonata, which took nearly five years to write. The concert wrapped with Mendelssohn’s Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano No. 1 in D minor, with cellist Ani Aznavoorian adding to the dynamic duo.
